Ask Acharya S: The Book of Revelation

Question:
Dear Acharya S, I understand that scholars are in complete agreement in dating the Book of Revelation to the end of the first century, but I want to be different. According to you, when did was this book written?

Answer:
Gerald Massey has stated that Revelation, rather than having been written by any apostle called John during the 1st century AD/CE, represents a very ancient text that dates to the beginning of this era of history, i.e. possibly as early as 4,000 years ago. Massey also asserts that Revelation relates the Mithraic legend of Zarathustra/Zoroaster. Dr. Hilton Hotema says of this mysterious book, which has baffled mankind for centuries: "It is expressed in terms of creative phenomena; its hero is not Jesus but the Sun of the Universe, its heroine is the Moon; and all its other characters are Planets, Stars and Constellations; while its stage-setting comprises the Sky, the Earth, the Rivers and the Sea." Thankyou once again for that excellent answer, Acharya! For answering you have won this bouncy ball! However, you don't get it until you put your helment back on. That's a good girl.

Ask Acharya S: Where did the 'Holy Bible' come from?

Question:
Dear Acharya S, I always thought the world Holy Bible had something to do with the word Holy and Bible. And that these words were late in their attribution to the collection of sacred Christian texts. I have heard that you have discovered something significant - in that the words Holy Bible are more proof that Christianity is just Horus worship.

Answer:

Thankyou for your question, Katie. What we have to remember here is that everything (like how Christians confuse "son" for "sun") is that Christianity is a copy of Egyptian religion. In a recent booklet I answer your question. I stated, "So important was the sun to the ancients that they composed a "Sun Book," or "Helio Biblia," which became the "Holy Bible.""[source]

Thankyou for answering that question, Acharya S. Here is a cookie...with no sharp edges this time.
The purpose of this blog is rather straight forward. It is to collect a lot of the stupid things we hear from Acharya S.

If you don't know who Acharya S/D.M. Murdock is - then you are the envy of many people. Acharya S is a wannabe internet scholar. Essentially, her plan appears to be making up stupid things, and publishing them through her website or self-publishing company.
